– 20th anniversary celebration, June 1, 2008, “The Ultimate Sunday Brunch™”. Taste
of Hawaii has been voted “Best Community Event:” four years running and will be
held once again at Smith’s Tropical Paradise. This year’s event will be different
from any other and sponsorship opportunities
have been significantly enhanced to
bring even more value to you, the community of Kauai and Rotary Club of Kapaa.
Taste of Hawaii is the
primary source of fundraising
for Rotary Club of Kapaa’s
annual operating budget. The success of this event allows us to continue our work
of helping the community’s less fortunate through a host of community based projects,
providing scholarship grants, supporting other non-profit organizations including
grants, with a portion of our profits also used for international relief efforts.
This year,
Rotary Club of Kapaa established a 10-year goal of a
$1,000,000 endowment
fund in order to create a long-term, sustainable fund with significant financial
resources to provide greater benefits to our community, which will grow each year
through Taste of Hawaii and by your generous support. The Club has provided seed
funding of $110,000 to start this effort. Please take a look at the attached sponsorship
